Integrated Risk & Sustainability Summit

Sustainability Summit

September 21, 2018
Mayuree Ballroom, Dusit Hotel, Makati City

Today, a company’s value is driven by both its financial strength and its intangible assets like brand and reputation, intellectual capital and its relationships with its stakeholders. Because of Sustainability, businesses are now more conscious of how they conduct their activities such as from where they source materials, how they drive their product and innovation, and even to how they attract and maintain talent. These, coupled with the global megatrends like climate change and modern slavery, are accompanied by more risks. Thus, a Risk Management that is anchored on strong governance and is seen beyond the scope of compliance, crisis, or disaster has become vital. This shift in the business landscape calls for the integration of Sustainability and Risk Management for companies to ensure that they can protect themselves from emerging challenges and will prosper over the long term, and most of all, create value for all its stakeholders. This event is the first Integrated Risk Management & Sustainability Summit of the Ayala group and it will begin the conversation on why it is necessary to integrate the two fields. The summit gathers around 350 executives and senior leaders from the group.
